What to do in the event an accident occurs?

1. Stop in a safe place and remain at the scene.
2. Check for injuries and treat if needed.
3. Call the police and report the accident.
4. Secure name, number, and address of any witness.
5. Exchange insurance information with the other driver.
6. Take pictures of the damage and scene if possible.
7. Do not discuss details of the accident with anybody other than police and your agent.
8. Remain calm, courteous, and consistent in your version of the accident.
